This book is a very quick read, broken down nicely into 'monthly' chapters. The amount of death and tragedy in the book makes me wonder if all the events described really happened in this fellow's life, but it is an older book so maybe things weren't as advanced at his hospital back then as they are at the hospital where I work today.
