With a new adventure on almost every page; Doug Oudin describes, in intimate detail, the lives of his characters, fishing, surfing, the beauty and mishaps while aboard a yacht and sailboat, as well as capturing the beauty of the lands and cultures from Mexico, through Central America and into the Caribbean.

    I like the scenery, culture, and food described in this book. My favorite sections are the interactions with the locals, which are very realistic and made me long to be back in Central America. The writing is a blend of factual narration about the history and location of the ports combined with the story of the characters who go there.
