So glad I read this on the anniversary of 9/11. The title, which is perfectly apropos for the series, is the same as the motto of the USS New York, the story's setting.I liked all the characters and can't wait to get my next fix.

Good suspense at the end, interesting things with ghosts, but too much jumping around for me.Three stories are being told. I did not like the way the author jumped around among them. Sometimes it was one page on one story, then jump to another story for a few pages, then jump to the third story. I would prefer at least a chapter on each story before switching to another. If you want to talk about two couples, I’d prefer they interact with each other to develop one story instead of jumping to s [...]

Never Forget is a unique concept I don’t think I’ve ever seen in a romance novel. However, the author's execution of the story is brilliant.Frank “Nick” Nikolopoulos (I hope I spelled that right – it’s Greek to me), a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, has been assigned to a British ship for one year, the HMS Atlantic, when he’s introduced to the sexiest woman he’s ever seen. Sparks fly. Unfortunately, Trudy happens to be Nick’s assistant engineer and is strictly off-limits. We know [...]

I thought this was a wonderful book. There is so much happening in it, that I was never bored or waiting for something exciting. There is a rather large group of characters, which I really enjoyed. I fell in love with all of them, and their stories. Heather Ashby did an amazing job developing each and every one of them. I had no trouble following along, and there were a lot of surprises. Not only did the characters, living and spirits, play on my emotions, but the setting for the story was movin [...]

Totally and wonderfully OUTside of the box. This book has it all, sexy military guys and gals, intrigue where and when you least expect it and spirits determined to get their own back. Ashby is so spot on with her Yanks and their cousins across the pond, she's either had a former life as a Brit or she's got great coaching. It was fun and interesting seeing into the inner workings of a military warship both British and American and the differences in officer/enlisted relations. I was already enjo [...]

This is my first book by Heather Ashby. I read it mostly out of curiosity, wondering why everyone who reviewed this book unanimously gave it 5 stars. Personally, I really liked the concept of commemorating the fallen of 09/11, but I had a bit of a difficult time with the supernatural aspect of the story. Nevertheless, the spirits were endearing and believable. Their presence was immensely touching. I liked the symbolism of it. But when it comes down to it, this is mainly a romance story, and hon [...]

Heather Ashby doesn't disappoint in this 3rd instalment of her Love in the Fleet series. As always, I felt like I was living vicariously through Ms Ashby's characters, in such exotic locations, and sometimes, intense situations. Heather Ashby has a real knack for making her books feel so authentic, yet so accessible to civilians like me.The things I like best about "Never Forget" are the premise of the entire book, and the sensitivity with which the topic of 9/11 and its victims were written abo [...]

I'm a big fan of both military thrillers and ghost stories. I never thought I'd find both genres in one bookbut that's just what I found in Never Forget, and I loved it! Mixed in with these two themes was a healthy dose of romance, which was also quite nice. I tend to be a bit squeamish about bedroom scenes, but found those in Never Forget to be on the classy side. I enjoyed the way the author wove together multiple story lines, bringing them all together at just the right moment. This was my fi [...]

This is one of the best stories I 've read in a long time. There is adventure, laughter, love, and so much more. I enjoy series, the ongoing story. This book was exceptionally well written. The battle scenes were extremely well described. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read a book that grabs and holds your full attention Loved the "spirits"! The emotions were real, parts of the story had me in tears. Had to keep reading to see what was on the next page.

Good military story with some loveI started this book because I knew someone involved with the writing process. I have a military background so it was nice to read a story that had accurate military language. The love story was good but I was hoping Adam got his happy ever after here instead of being continued to the next book. That was the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. But it did make for a good cliff hanger ending.

Great follow up to Forgive and Forget and Forget Me Not, with new characters as well as cameos by some old friends. Two romances, two Navies, spirits waiting to cross over, and an action movie climax. I especially liked "the Lynx," and never guessed his true identity.

Incredible Storyline is imaginative and inspired. Draws you in, hooks you and won't release you. More than a romance! Must read!

I think this author keeps getting better and better. I really enjoyed reading about our counter parts in the British armed services.
