Ouran High School Host Club Vol The school wide physical exam has thrown the members of the elegant Host Club for a loop How can the doctor not discover that Haruhi is a girl And once the female customers learn the turn Haruhi can
The second volume of Ouran High School Host Club includes where Haruhi has to take a physical exam, Hunny goes missing at Kyoya's family pool resort, Tamaki has apprentice, and the twins are fighting. If you have seen the anime then you pretty much know what to expect out of Volume two, but it's still worth a read. Of course the characters are all up to their usual antics and this one goes deeper into some of the characters. I especially like when the twins fight. I just love this series!! It's [...]
I'm d r o w n i n g in cuteness.
The episode where the twins fight is probably one of my favorites and it was great seeing it here. I laughed and then I laughed again. Love you forever, Ouran.
5/5 Stars. This manga series is amazing! Such a quick read!
The school-wide physical exam has thrown the members of the Host Club for a loop. How can the doctor not discover that Haruhi is a girl?! i love this manga and i already wacth the anime version. if you love georgeous and cute boy, this manga is for you
Really very funny! I love Honey and Tamaki, the twins, Mori. All the characters are hilarious! So cute!!!
Have I told you that I love this series?I genuinely can't stop laughing when reading it.Walking down to the library to get more tomorrow afternoonI hope I can wait.
This Manga is one of the best Mangas ever and I mean ever! Even if you don’t like the idea of Mangas you should still read this book for the pictures they are so pretty and the details are amazing! My favorite characters are the twins,Tamaki Honey, and Mori the are great best book ever!
3 stars for the Ouran Host Club part because it was good as usual but these three episodes just happen to be among my least favourites in the anime. The fourth star is for the short story Romantic Egoist included in the back, which I loved.
Spring has come to Ouran High School, and spring is typified by cherry blossoms, and our six gorgeous hosts - and Haruhi - are hard at work, doing what they do best, dispensing attention to the lucky patrons of the Host Club! Tamaki is his usual charming self, the twins are causing the hearts of their lady guests to swoon with their brotherly devotion, Kyoyo is fattening the purse of the club with his collector photos of memorable occasions, and Mori and Hunny are working in tandem - Mori points [...]
As usual, I'm giggling, laughing and rolling on my bed. These guys always manage to crack me up. Oh, and I'm also trying to avoid my mom who's fed up of my loud laugh and is threatening to sew my lips sut! :o
Yeah, I officially can't do manga.
I'm starting to realise that this is not something I would've enjoyed much at all if I picked up the manga first. I'm not enjoying the manga version nearly as much as I'd hoped. It definitely works better as an anime. Or maybe I've grown out of my Ouran phase2.5 bunnies outta 5.
This is the second volume so imagine this like the continuation of my preview review. In this volume we learned more about the twins, they are so manipulative. They have a stupid fight just because they were bored (and they also had a hidden motivation which I will not say). The twins create all kind of conflicts during that particular chapter; however, the clever way of how they controlled everything makes me thing that they are even more dangerous than Kyoya. Also, we have a chapter in where we [...]
Overall Rating: ASynopsis: Created by Bisco Hatori, the series follows Haruhi Fujioka, a scholarship student at the prestigious Ouran High School. Haruhi is a girl, but she got gum put in her hair so she cut it short, and wears boys clothes. This wouldn't be terribly important, but one day she stumbles across the school's Host Club. The Host Club is basically a place for six idly rich pretty boys to be idly rich pretty boys, and idly rich pretty girls to come and fawn over them and pretend the b [...]
A volume earlier, I said that Bisco Hatori's art was relatively inconsistent, as is with any manga that is just starting out. In the second volume, her still-noodley characters have been settled into forms recognizable by someone who has only seen said characters in their anime forms. Speaking of which, the anime seems to have followed the book note for note and joke for joke, with the exception of one gag that poked fun at some of the Host Club members tendency for the homo-erotic. Maybe it's b [...]
See my other review on Volume 1 for some more serious musings. Here, I'll just continue some thoughts that are less reviewish and more just me giving random commentary.Basically.Random weird things that annoy me about Ouran High School Host Club.- Hunny is a cute and appealing character on his own. But being a Furuba fan first, reading Hunny feels like a complete repetition of Sohma Momiji. A tiny little kid with light colored hair, a ready smile, childish ways, an older age than expected, and c [...]
Haruhi Fujihoka's adventures continue in the second installment of "Ouran High School Host Club". A school wide physical exam takes place and the Host Club desperately tries to hide the fact that the school's new favorite host is a girl. Later, at Kyoya's family pool resort, Bunny goes missing! How will the Host Club handle the situation? Find out, and much more, in this second installment.I love this series. It's not on my top five list, but it's high on my top ten. I'd recommend this to anyone [...]
Another enjoyable installment of the Ouran High School Host Club. This one was pretty funny as per usual, but I do also like that there is some definite character development as the series goes on. Particularly noticeable was the Twins and the sometimes strange relationship between Mori and Hunny. It's also pretty interesting to see the effect that Haruhi has on all the members of the club and how she makes them somewhat less self-centered a little bit.
I love how there is no real continuative story in this manga. (At least not at the beginning) It's all just getting to know each character a little bit at a time. Normally this would aggravate the beejeezus out of me but not in this one. It makes it a little bit more sweet. I love getting to know each character.
I liked the artwork here better than Vol. 1, but I wasn't so impressed by the story. What I did like are B. Hatori's asides -->"Happiness. One reason for it is usually enough."- "Art's a lonely business! Hah!"and also her tongue-in-cheek pronouncements -->"Presented per no one's request: The Usual Flirtatious Drawing to End the Volume."
I actually didn't like this volume as much as the first one :-( That makes me sad. But, it was still good and the twins are fantastic! Hopefully the next volume will be super fantastic like the first one!
fun continuation of the series. Still pretty consistent with the anime. I'm enjoying it a lot. having some problems with telling the characters apart and also there are some things lost in translation but overall good.
I enjoyed this volume more than I did the first volume, and I'm really liking things so far. Ouran is always able to make me smile.
Re-read 02/18Even though this volume contains my least favorite episode in the series (episode 4), I still really enjoyed it! The extra story at the end, Romantic Egoist, was a bit silly, but it was still enjoyable. This definitely isn't my favorite volume, but I really, really liked it.Original ReviewJust as weird as the first, but still amazing!
The last chapter saved it for me. I'm going to continue this series for that storyline alone.
Sigue sin tener ningún sentido, pero es divertido xD
This is one of the manga that makes me laugh out loud! So good!
As a fan of the anime series, I wanted to see how series continues with the manga. So far, no difference that I can tell.
This volume was just as fun and hilarious as the first. I love that the characters are slowly getting more depth.
